Data mapping and transformation logic in EA. How to do it...
We have recently started using UML (EA) for all our Integration documentation. For the most part it has been a real win. A major part of our integration work involves mapping of source and target data. E.g. Data represented in the XML structure of Source System A mapped the XML structure of Target System A. This process often involves enrichment and transformation logic.
